Guest Contact
- Checking guests in and out

Administration
- Managing and replying to emails

Who are you?
- You must have at least a high school diploma

Your role: Sales with character
As Senior Sales & Event Manager, you are the commercial figurehead of our abbey. You understand that a location like this requires an entrepreneurial approach. You are our commercial figurehead with a sense of tradition, but with a keen eye on the future. As head of department, you lead the sales team and contribute strategically to the growth of Rolduc.
What will you do?
You are ultimately responsible for the commercial results. You not only work in the department, but also on the department.
- Strategic development: You translate objectives into a concrete action plan for the coming years, including a solid financial foundation.

- Concept development: You develop innovative meeting packages and out-of-the-box concepts for product launches and exclusive events, among other things.

- Operational management: You manage the sales team and are the main point of contact for the client during important events.
- Internal collaboration: You liaise directly with the General Manager and department heads (F&B and Chef) to ensure that implementation is seamlessly aligned with sales.
Who are you?
- A commercial engine: You get energy from targets and attracting new international customers, while actively maintaining and further expanding existing relationships.
- Experienced leader: You have at least 1 year of sales experience and at least 3 years of experience in a role within the hotel or event & hospitality industry. You know how to coach a team (a managerial position is desirable).
- Strong analytical skills: You understand the figures behind the events and can accurately prepare quotations, KPIs, and budgets.
- Welcoming & Presentable: You are the face of our heritage and radiate Limburg hospitality in a professional manner.

As Front Office Supervisor At Abdij Hotel Rolduc, you are the face of our iconic location and play a crucial role in creating unforgettable guest experiences. You will lead a young and dynamic front office team, coaching, motivating, and training them to take their skills to the next level. In addition, you will ensure smooth collaboration with other departments such as housekeeping, sales, and F&B, to provide our guests with a seamless experience.
What falls under your responsibility:
- Leadership and Team Development: Managing, training, and motivating your team to ensure a high level of service. You act as a coach and mentor for a young team.
- Guest experience: Ensuring a warm welcome, checking guests in and out, providing information, and resolving questions and complaints. Upselling and creating personalized guest experiences are key.
- Operations Management: Day-to-day coordination of the front office, including work schedules, training schedules, and staff planning. You are the link between the front office, housekeeping, sales, and food and beverage department.
- Administration and Communication: Managing emails, room reservations, and correctly processing checklists. Keeping track of daily financial transactions and reports to management.
- Accommodation and Facilities: Collaborate with housekeeping on room statuses and quality checks to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
Your Profile:
- At least a completed vocational education in hospitality or comparable experience as a Front Office Supervisor.
- Experience in training and motivating young teams, mentor.
- Experience with housekeeping processes is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English (other languages such as German or French are an advantage).
- PMS Systems: You have experience with Property Management Systems and can train and support your team in this area.
